The Credit Builder loan is a Personal Loan to repair bad credit or build initial credit history.

How it works:

  • Loan proceeds are deposited into your Sooper Credit Union Primary Share Savings Account where the money earns interest while you pay back the loan.
  • Sooper Credit Union will report your timely payments to the credit reporting agencies and, once your loan is paid off, you’ll have built up a savings balance to continue reaching toward your financial goals.

A CD-Secured Loan locks a specific portion of your funds for a certain time period. Once the loan is paid in full, the CD funds become available to you once again.
