Sooper Credit Union has been made aware of some fraudulent e-mail and phone activities asking to confirm account information using Sooper Credit Union's name and logo. If you would like more information or wish to report that you have been a victim of a scam, please call our Call Center Supervisor, Domenic Sansotta at (303) 427-5005 during normal working hours or e-mail phishing@soopercu.org.
We would also appreciate it if you forward any suspicious e-mails to phishing@soopercu.org.
Please note: Sooper Credit Union will never send an email or call you requesting your account number, PIN or credit card information. Never respond to a request for this information.
Phishing Prevention Tips
The latest version of Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox have built in tools that can help you identify phishing sites before you put in your information.
Internet Explorer
For the latest version of Internet Explorer go to: Tools - Windows Updates (to install any new updates)
To turn on the phishing filter go to: Tools - Phishing Filter - Turn on automatic website checking.
You will now be warned when visiting a phishing site.
Mozilla Firefox
To install Mozilla Firefox go to http://www.getfirefox.com.
Make sure you have the latest version of Firefox by going to: Help - Check for updates (to install any new updates)
