Changes Coming To Overdraft Protection (Courtesy Pay)
Sooper Credit Union offers a service where we pay for checks you write and debit card purchases you make at retailers when your account does not have enough money to cover the transaction. This is called Courtesy Pay. Although checks and other types of transactions can still be covered by us, all members who are currently enrolled in Courtesy Pay and all members who wish to enroll in Courtesy Pay now have the option to enroll for full Courtesy Pay coverage.
There is no charge to be a part of the Courtesy Pay program and you are only charged a small fee when your account balance goes negative. If you enroll in the expanded Courtesy Pay coverage, your point-of-sale debit card transactions and ATM transactions may be approved up to your maximum Courtesy Pay limit. Enrolling now could reduce the embarrassment and inconvenience of having your transaction denied.
To enroll in the program, please print and complete this enrollment form or request the form when you visit one of our branches.
